Based in the heart of Shadwell, our maktab is committed to nurturing a deep love for Islam in the hearts of our children building strong foundations in Qur’an, character (akhlaq), and Islamic knowledge within a supportive, welcoming environment.

About Shadwell Maktab
Established in 1997, Shadwell Maktab has been a cornerstone of Islamic education for children in the heart of Shadwell. The Maktab was founded in response to the growing needs of the local Muslim community, providing structured and authentic Islamic Studies in a nurturing and disciplined environment.
What We Offer
• Qur’an recitation & memorisation (with tajweed)
• Essential Islamic studies: Salah, Fiqh, Aqeedah, and Seerah
• Islamic manners (Adab & Akhlaq)
• Age-appropriate classes for boys and girls (ages 5–16)
• Taught by qualified, DBS-checked teachers in a safe setting
